Intensity was 5.8 on the Richter scale
Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR for more than 30 seconds at 2.30 pm on Tuesday. Apart from Delhi, these tremors have also been felt in Nepal. At present, there is no news of any damage due to this earthquake. According to the National Center for Seismology, the intensity of the earthquake has been measured at 5.8 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake has been reported in Kalika, Nepal.
Apart from Delhi-NCR, earthquake tremors have also been felt at many places in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. In Uttarakhand, tremors were also felt in capital Dehradun, Almora and Pithoragarh. The tremors of the earthquake were so strong that people came out of their homes and offices.
